Products Naturally, it is vital that Grodan products are a byword for a clean, disease-free start to cultivation, however, customised solutions need to be implemented because of the huge variety of plants, preferences and local circumstances. Technical possibilities and choices regarding water dosage will determine the desired characteristics of the substrate. Grodan takes into account all such variable and individual factors in its cultivation solutions. |
Tailor-made advice Grodan works closely with renowned research bodies to link its practical experience with the most recent scientific analyses. An excellent example is Gronow Water Management. This software application visually correlates the relationship between the method of water dosage and the optimum water-supply strategy. This optimum strategy was developed in close co-operation between the Dutch trial station (part of Wageningen University), PPO Glasshouse Horticulture and Grodan. |
Our advisers Grodan's global presence means that the company can draw on the knowledge and experience of thousands of growers. The Grodan advisers and the specialists from Substratus, our crop consulting company, are thus able to draw on this treasury of information and provide customised advice for every grower, for every situation or need.
This collaboration can take place in many ways, certainly through personal contact, but, in addition, Grodan also makes extensive use of all current communication media such as e-mail, the Worldwide Web, CD-ROM, fax, Newsletters and brochures. Horticulture has always undergone new development, and always will. Grodan reflects that development. |
